The post didn\u2019t go viral until weeks later, but has now been seen over 4.5 million times. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the screencap of the alleged messages, <strong>Jack<\/strong>, 29, messaged <strong>Ava<\/strong> one day after her birthday and wrote, \u201cHappy Bday Ava. Was going to say yesterday but I wanted you to see my message. Was it spectacular?\u201d Two days went by and she didn\u2019t respond, so he followed up with, \u201cAvaaa?\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One week later, <strong>Jack <\/strong>sent <strong>Ava<\/strong> an expiring video message in her DMs. After she didn\u2019t reply to that either, he followed up the next day and wrote, \u201cI\u2019ll never understand following and leaving me on read\u2026 esp as a Christian \u2013 something very weird and off there, truly strange behavior! I\u2019m guessing he found my account through hers because we have pictures together. Then he followed me. I followed him back. I wasn\u2019t the first person to follow him. I wouldn\u2019t consider myself a fan. I watched him when I was like five, and that\u2019s it,\u201d <strong>Ava<\/strong> said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ava<\/strong> said that she posted on Instagram for her birthday and he liked the post. Then he waited one day to send her the Instagram DM, which can be seen above. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ava<\/strong> noted that she tried to screen-record <strong>Jack<\/strong>\u2018s expiring video, but the app wouldn\u2019t let her. She said, \u201cBasically, in the video, he was like sitting on his couch in the living room and he was like, \u2018Hey Ava, I know you don\u2019t know me, but I followed you a few months ago. Obviously you\u2019re not really feeling, like, everything that I\u2019ve said to you, but I decided to unfollow you two days ago and now every single time I go on Instagram, you\u2019re my whole feed and my whole Explore page, so I feel like it\u2019s the algorithm telling us we\u2019re meant to talk so I\u2019ll give it one last try.\u2019 I don\u2019t remember exactly what he said, so don\u2019t quote me on anything, but that was the gist of what he was saying.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI was weirded out to begin with, because he\u2019s 30, but maybe he doesn\u2019t know that I\u2019m a minor.
