The show will take place on a scaled-up version of the game board and will feature 12 players competing for a $2 million prize. Studio Lambert (The Traitors, Squid Game: The Challenge) is producing the series in association with Hasbro Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tHere\u2019s how Netflix describes <em>Monopoly<\/em>: \u201cOn a life-sized, fully realized Monopoly Town Square, 12 players will enter on equal footing. But equality won\u2019t last long. To survive, contestants must<strong> <\/strong>accumulate everything, or lose it all. \u00a0Every negotiation, every decision, and every roll could mean the difference between building an empire and going directly to jail. Monopoly Go!, a mobile-phone version of the game, has tens of millions of downloads since it launched in 2023.
