Now, within just days of its release, the new 12-part series has made a splash on the streaming charts, debuting at #5 on the Top 10 Non-English shows during the week of August 3 to 9.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/tudum\/top10\/tv-non-english\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Netflix&#8217;s Tudum<\/a>, the Korean series debuted behind <em>My Daughter&#8217;s Father <\/em>season 1, <em>Wrath<\/em> season 1, <em>Spooky in Love<\/em>, and <em>Badly in Love<\/em> season 2. It is also one of the four Korean dramas ranking on the charts, alongside <em>Agent Kim: Reactivated<\/em> and<em> The East Palace<\/em>. During its debut week,<em> Our Sticky Love<\/em> generated 3.2 million views.<\/p>\n<p>The new Netflix series is No. 1 in two countries: Thailand and Vietnam. The story follows prosecutor Go Eun-sae (Ha Young), who loses memory of her past life. Tae-ha (Jun Hae-in), who recognizes her, decides to take her and claims to be her boyfriend. However, the situation escalates due to a crime syndicate, which brings a flavor of action and thriller to the romantic comedy.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the series is also anchored by the star power of the two leads. Jung starred in projects like <em>I, the Executioner, Love Next Door<\/em>, and <em>Snowdrop<\/em>. Meanwhile, Ha has her first lead role in <em>Our Sticky Love <\/em>after supporting roles in <em>Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Bloodhounds<\/em>, and <em>Teach You a Lesson<\/em>, while <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/trauma-code-heroes-call-medical-k-drama-hospital-playlist-recommendation\/\" target=\"_blank\">co-starring in<em> The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, not long after the show&#8217;s release, Ha became the center of scandal after she &#8220;<em>proudly<\/em>&#8221; revealed her family&#8217;s history in medicine without naming her great-grandfather, Ahn Sang-ho, who is speculated to be a collaborator with the Empire of Japan. The actor eventually apologized, saying that she has &#8220;<em>only partially known about her great-grandfather&#8217;s life through stories told by her family.<\/em>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Alongside Jung and Ha, the supporting cast includes Heo Sung-tae, Lee Jae-won, Choi Yu-ju, Eun Jon-Gun, and Lee Kug-Young. Mo Ji-hye wrote the series, while King Jang-han directed the episodes.
