The final couples were Trinity and Bryce, Aniya and Carl, Kayda and Zach, and Melanie and Sincere.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAfter couples went on their final\u00a0<em>Love Island USA<\/em>\u00a0dates during the finale, host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/ariana-madix\/\" id=\"auto-tag_ariana-madix_1\" data-tag=\"ariana-madix\">Ariana Madix<\/a> revealed the Islanders who received the most votes and captured America\u2019s heart in the end were Trinity and Bryce. Aniya and Carl were the runners-up, with Melanie and Sincere coming in third place, and Zach and Kayda in fourth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cI feel like I\u2019m in a dream right now. I\u2019m walking up here, I\u2019m like, \u2018Is this fucking real?\u2019\u201d an emotional Bryce said after winning. An overjoyed Trinity added, \u201cI\u2019m just so overwhelmed. I never would have expected in a million years I would be in this position right now.\u201d The pair also told each other that they love them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tPeacock also announced Sunday that the <em>Love Island USA <\/em>reunion special will air on Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. PT\/9 p.m. ET, with Madix and Andy Cohen returning as hosts. Additionally, <em>Love Island: Beyond the Villa<\/em> has been renewed for a third season and will premiere in 2027. The cast will be revealed later this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThough Trinity and Bryce seemed like an unlikely match at first, appearing to be more friends than lovers, their relationship actually became a slow burn, developing throughout the season. Once Casa Amor arrived, their true feelings finally came to the surface during the show\u2019s ultimate relationship test. From Sincere\u2019s ongoing lies to Melanie and Kenzie\u2019s shady exploring to KC\u2019s hurtful words about Aniya and Zach\u2019s commitment issues with Kayda, the season was still filled with more than enough drama.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tHeading into the new season, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-features\/host-ariana-madix-love-island-usa-season-8-interview-1236609994\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-features\/host-ariana-madix-love-island-usa-season-8-interview-1236609994\/\">Madix chatted with <em>The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a> about the success the Peacock series has seen in recent years. After <em>Love Island USA<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-features\/love-island-usa-season-8-preview-ariana-madix-1236594221\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-features\/love-island-usa-season-8-preview-ariana-madix-1236594221\/\">became a cultural phenomenon<\/a> over the last two seasons, the eighth installment reached new heights when the show\u2019s first week <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/streaming-ratings-june-1-7-2026-1236636172\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/streaming-ratings-june-1-7-2026-1236636172\/\">topped the Nielsen streaming charts<\/a>, recording the show\u2019s biggest premiere numbers to date.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tIn addition to the show being \u201cable to carve out a unique place\u201d in the television space, Madix also praised the casting team for casting Islanders who draw viewers in. \u201cThese Islanders are never together. They don\u2019t meet. There\u2019s no interaction where they can chemistry test the way you would on a scripted show,\u201d the host previously told <em>THR<\/em>. \u201cSo you don\u2019t know until they\u2019re all in a room together what kind of sparks are going to fly. And yet year after year, the casting team does such an incredible job of finding the secret sauce amongst the cast to really make those sparks fly and make the show exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe season was also met with a few scandals when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/love-island-usa-alannah-keyser-speaks-out-exit-social-video-1236632438\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/love-island-usa-alannah-keyser-speaks-out-exit-social-video-1236632438\/\">Alannah Keyser<\/a> and <a data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/vasana-addresses-love-island-usa-season-8-exit-1236612385\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/vasana-addresses-love-island-usa-season-8-exit-1236612385\/\">Vasana Montgomery<\/a> were removed from the show when respective social media posts emerged of them using the N-word.
