All Rights Reserved\/Bertrand Calmeau\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>\t<\/div><figcaption>The new season is filled with new storylines and antics (Picture: BBC\/CBS)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In fact, the new series seems to have impressed fans who have already watched it.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The American version is consistent, pretty good with some bright moments,\u2019 Blanca M praised on <a data-ico=\"hyperlink-article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/rotten-tomatoes\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>, averaging an impressive 87% audience score for the show as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Well if the last season was the best yet then this is better. It\u2019s also the funniest season in the entire show. There are episodes in this season that will keep you laughing throughout,\u2019 Zane T hailed.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018First half of this season has the old magic back,\u2019 Jen N reflected.<\/p>\n<div class=\"factbox\" data-ico=\"factbox_article\" data-track-module=\"factbox_article\">\n<h2 class=\"factbox-title\">\n\t\t\t\tMetro TV writer Asyia Iftikhar on what she loves about Ghosts US\t\t\t<\/h2>\n<div class=\"factbox-content\">\n<p>Like many other Ghosts UK fans I originally groaned at the idea of a US version of the show, and was sure it was a mistake.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, as someone who loves the premise of a household of kooky ghosts (and Rose McIver) I decided to give the show a chance and I\u2019m glad I did.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, there were times where the American humour didn\u2019t quite land for me, but more often than not, the show has made me laugh out loud and I have grown quite fond of the eccentric band of spirits conjured up in this new version.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"462\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/SEI_257602494-6f9e.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=646\" class=\"article-image wp-image-23560163\" alt=\"Rebecca Wisocky as Hetty, Sheila Carrasco as Flower; Brandon Scott Jones as Isaac; Richie Moriarty as Pete, Danielle Pinnock as Alberta and Asher Grodman as Trevor; Devon Chandler Long as Thor\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>\t<\/div><figcaption>UK viewers have access to a whopping 72 episodes of the remake from today (Picture: CBS\/BBC)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a gay Revolutionary War veteran, Isaac, a forever high 60s hippie called Flower and a self-obsessed jazz singer, Alberta. What\u2019s not to love?<\/p>\n<p>The fact that there are so many episodes in every season is the cherry on top, and it fills a void left by the UK version of giving us even more time with our resident ghosts.<\/p>\n<p>For fellow sceptics, take the new season landing as your sign to give the show a try.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u2018The series manages to keep itself fresh with new situations, ghosts and stunts. The feel of an old sitcom is to be cherished. A top-tier cast that continues to deliver!\u2019 Pop Culture Planet teased.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Ghosts US has paved the way for more remakes to be made, and Australia just launched their own spin-off, following the UK with a traditional six-episode format.<\/p>\n<p>The Australian version is also a bucket of fun with its own culturally and historically specific ghosts roaming the halls of the Aussie couple\u2019s home.<\/p>\n<p>But if you\u2019ve already binged the new remake and are getting withdrawals, then look no further.
