Feige said the actors had only just met backstage for the first time, and cautioned that the roster revealed Friday isn&#8217;t the complete lineup. A number of actors from the 2000s Fox films \u2014 including Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, James Marsden as Cyclops, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, and Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler \u2014 are set to return this December in <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/entertainment\/avengers-doomsday-trailer-marvel\" target=\"_blank\" data-ga-click=\"1\" data-ga-label=\"$text\" data-ga-item=\"text-link\" data-ga-module=\"content_body\"><em>Avengers: Doomsday<\/em><\/a>. Connor&#8217;s role as Cyclops and Weaving&#8217;s as Emma Frost had previously been reported, and the <em>Hollywood Reporter<\/em> had exclusively reported the prior week that Abbott was a strong contender for Professor X.
