However, the two stars appeared in a video message recorded from the set. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Greatest Showman<\/em> filmmaker <strong>Michael Gracey<\/strong> is directing the adaptation from a screenplay by <strong>Jennifer Kaytin Robinson<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Disney\u2019s original animated <em>Tangled <\/em>was released in 2010 and featured <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/tags\/mandy-moore\/\" class=\"celebrity-tag-link\"><strong class=\"celebrity-tag-strong\">Mandy Moore<\/strong><\/a> and <strong>Zachary Levi<\/strong> as the voices of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, respectively. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The live-action <em>Tangled <\/em>is now scheduled to arrive in theaters on March 31,
