channel<\/a> is in hot water following an alleged omission during its coverage of the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, England this week.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\" class=\"speakable\">RTVE, a news organization in <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_outkick-sports_article_main-content_article-body_6_8982276\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/world\/world-regions\/spain\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Spain<\/a>, was covering a hurdling event that featured athletes from all over the world lining up in their starting positions and staying loose.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">As the camera panned to each individual participant, the anchors for RTVE introduced the athletes by name as well the country they represented.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">However, when the camera reached Omri Shiff, a hurdler from Israel, both anchors inexplicably averted their attention to another participant who was apparently taking too long to get set.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\"><a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_outkick-sports_article_main-content_article-body_6_8982277\" athletes were once again mentioned by their name and what country they were there to represent.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">Even if you don&#8217;t speak fluent Spanish, you can tell just by their cadence as well as the names being used that Shiff wasn&#8217;t acknowledged during the athlete intros.
