Kealoha starred as Lilo in Disney&#8217;s first remake, released in 2025, and will be reprising her role in the sequel alongside her alien best friend Stitch. Angel, also known as Experiment 624, will be joining the alien on his next adventure.<\/p>\n<p>The original animated movie also had sequels with <em>Lilo &amp; Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch<\/em>. It&#8217;s unclear if Disney will remake the animated sequel or take the story in an entirely new direction, but fans are hoping to see the return of the heartbreaking, yet utterly charming sequel&#8217;s story come to life.<\/p>\n<p> Original co-creator and voice of Stitch, <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/lilo-stitch-2-chris-sanders-director-original-co-creator\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chris Sanders<\/a>, will be returning to write and direct the remake&#8217;s sequel. Sanders&#8217; history with Disney dates back to 1987 when he worked in the visual development department. He also worked as a writer and story artist on movies such as <em>The Lion King<\/em> and <em>Mulan<\/em>. The director also brought <em>How to Train Your Dragon<\/em> and <em>The Croods<\/em> to life, with Oscar-nominated <em>The Wild Robot<\/em> being his most recent project.
