The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star secured a courtroom victory after a judge ruled in her favor. The case involved <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mandatory.com\/tag\/cru-eaton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cru Eaton<\/a>, the roommate of her ex-boyfriend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mandatory.com\/tag\/dakota-mortensen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dakota Mortensen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-taylor-frankie-paul-wins-stalking-injunction-against-cru-eaton-over-a-video-of-her-fight-with-dakota-mortensen\">Taylor Frankie Paul wins stalking injunction against Cru Eaton over a video of her fight with Dakota Mortensen<\/h2>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/taylor-frankie-paul-granted-stalking-injunction-against-cru-eaton-12036593\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">People<\/a>, a Utah judge granted Taylor Frankie Paul a continued stalking injunction against Cru Eaton. The judge found that Eaton intended to target the reality star through his actions. The ruling stems from a video Eaton posted on social media showing Paul arguing with her former partner, Dakota Mortensen.<\/p>\n<p>During the Aug. 14 hearing, the judge found Eaton \u201cacted with full knowledge of the vulnerability\u201d when he shared the footage. \u201cThe court finds and concludes that was the intent,\u201d the judge said. \u201cThat was the point, and he succeeded in that.\u201d As part of the ruling, the court prohibited Eaton from posting additional videos of Paul. The judge also advised Eaton to remove the previously shared clip from social media.<\/p>\n<p>The dispute began after Eaton uploaded a July 9 video showing a heated argument between Paul and Mortensen. In the footage, Paul questioned why Mortensen was filming her while he accused her of abusive behavior. During the exchange, Paul became visibly emotional.<\/p>\n<p>One day after Eaton posted the video, Paul filed a civil stalking petition against him. She was initially granted a temporary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mandatory.com\/celebrities\/1817956-taylor-frankie-paul-stalking-injunction-challenged-before-hearing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stalking injunction<\/a> on July 15 after a judge determined that stalking had occurred, according to court documents.<\/p>\n<p>A source told People that the video showed Mortensen \u201cberating his postpartum girlfriend\u201d despite her asking him to stop recording. Another source, however, said people close to Mortensen believed Paul had avoided accountability and wanted to support him. Still, they questioned whether Eaton\u2019s actions ultimately helped.<\/p>\n<p>The latest ruling comes as Paul remains involved in multiple legal proceedings. She is currently in a custody dispute with Mortensen following mutual allegations of domestic violence. She also shares two children with ex-husband <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realitytea.com\/tag\/tate-paul\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tate Paul<\/a>, who is separately seeking changes to their custody arrangement.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, a Utah judge also ruled that Paul had completed the terms of her probation stemming from her 2023 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mandatory.com\/news\/1757815-the-bachelorette-taylor-frankie-paul-domestic-violence-no-charges\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">domestic violence case<\/a>. As a result, her aggravated assault felony conviction was amended to a Class A misdemeanor.<\/p>\n<p>Courts continue to weigh allegations from both Paul and Mortensen in ongoing legal proceedings.
