They ultimate went in at Number Five, while other new entries in the Top 40 included\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/role-model\">Role Model<\/a>\u00a0at Number Six,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/overmono\">Overmono<\/a>\u00a0at Number 12, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/man-woman-chainsaw\">Man\/Woman\/Chainsaw<\/a>\u00a0at Number 33.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Reytons\u2019 chart success began when their 2021 debut \u2018Kids Off\u00a0The\u00a0Estate\u2019 narrowly missed the Top 10. \u2018What\u2019s Rock\u00a0And\u00a0Roll?\u2019 took them to the top in 2023, while third album \u2018Ballad\u00a0Of\u00a0A\u00a0Bystander\u2019\u00a0reached Number Two,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/the-reytons-claim-theyre-this-weeks-true-number-one-album-after-official-charts-company-rejected-sales-we-have-sold-the-most-albums-in-the-uk-this-week-3581427\">despite the band claiming that they sold more copies than James Arthur at Number One<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/the-reytons-on-their-bid-for-number-one-we-came-here-as-massive-underdogs-3386786\">Speaking to\u00a0<i>NME\u00a0<\/i>in 2023 about reaching the top spot<\/a>,\u00a0Yerrell\u00a0said the band\u2019s DIY approach had grown out of necessity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re proud that we\u2019ve done it independently, and it\u2019s just a reminder that you can do it,\u201d he said. \u201cBecause we\u2019ve had so many doors shut in our face over the years that we\u2019ve had to literally find different ways around things, make things happen our own way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s no financial backing, we never started with any money. We started with very little money, if anything. We\u2019ve had to work our way to where we are. The whole Reytons thing is just to say, \u2018This is a community\u2019, and I want everyone to feel part of that. And also feel like they can achieve it as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Reytons\u00a0previewed \u2018A Love Letter\u00a0To\u00a0A\u00a0Broken Town\u2019 with the singles \u2018Jukebox\u2019 and \u2018Busker\u2019s Paradise\u2019 and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/the-reytons-announce-huge-world-tour-of-uk-europe-north-america-asia-and-australia-3941313\">their first world tour resumes in the UK and Ireland in October<\/a>, including a date at London\u2019s Alexandra Palace, before they head to Asia and\u00a0Australia next year.
