But it\u2019s not all good news for the actor, as he joked his audition is an example of \u201cwhat not to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tOn Thursday night\u2019s episode, Scott shared that his daughter participated in an acting program over the summer in New York while he and his family were in town as Scott films the third season of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/severance\/\" id=\"auto-tag_severance_1\" data-tag=\"severance\">Severance<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tOn the first day, Scott recalled, the teacher showed Scott\u2019s <em>Office<\/em> audition and John Krasinski\u2019s <em>Office<\/em> audition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cAnd then he put it to the class like, \u2018OK. Let\u2019s discuss why he got the job, and he didn\u2019t,&#8217;\u201d Scott said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tScott added that the teacher \u201chad no idea\u201d his daughter was in the class and that she was \u201cmortified\u201d by the experience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tBut Scott has found a silver lining to what happened.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cI\u2019m just happy to know that, like, in a prestigious acting class, I\u2019m the subject of what not to do,\u201d he joked to Fallon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tUltimately, the teacher realized who Scott\u2019s daughter is: \u201cWhen she was walking out, the teacher stopped her,\u201d he recalled. \u201cHe\u2019s like, \u2018Hey, um, do you know one of them?
