We wish him the best in his future endeavors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wilson joined the masked metal act in 1998, and had been a member ever since. He is the latest classic member to be let go from the band, following percussionist Chris Fehn in 2019 and sampler-keyboardist Craig Jones in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Related Video<\/p>\n<p>Prior to those personnel changes, Slipknot let go of founding drummer Joey Jordison in 2013 (he later passed away in 2021). And tragically, founding bassist Paul Gray died in 2010 while he was still an active member of the band.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, Wilson <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2023\/01\/kelly-osbourne-slipknot-sid-wilson-baby-boy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">welcomed a baby boy<\/a>\u00a0with Kelly Osbourne, and then\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2025\/07\/slipknot-sid-wilson-proposes-kelly-osbourne\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">proposed to her backstage<\/a> last summer in front of Ozzy Osbourne and family at the metal icon\u2019s final show in Birmingham, England at the \u201cBack to the Beginning\u201d concert. However, TMZ has reported that Wilson and Kelly Osbourne have since split up.<\/p>\n<p>A screen capture of Slipknot\u2019s announcement, which has already been removed from their social pages, can be seen below.
