His departure is one in a series in recent years. In 2019, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/slipknot\/\">Slipknot<\/a>\u00a0announced they were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/slipknot-part-ways-percussionist-chris-fehn-lawsuit-810057\/\">parting ways with Chris Fehn<\/a> amid the longtime percussionist\u2019s lawsuit that alleged the band had shorted payment he claimed was due to him. A few years later, pinhead-masked keyboardist-sampler Craig Jones, who had joined the nonet in 1996, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/slipknot-adderall-craig-jones-exit-1234767666\/\">also left the band in 2023<\/a>.
