dramatically barreled into a New Jersey township home Friday morning and ended up in its kitchen after the driver suffered a medical episode.<\/p>\n<p>The 2026 electric vehicle plowed into a closed garage door and crashed into the home\u2019s kitchen around 11 a.m. Friday, the South Brunswick Township Police Department <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SoBrunswickPD\/status\/2088338427548692556?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">confirmed on X.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A 68-year-old man was behind the wheel of the Tesla and suffered \u201cminor injury,\u201d according to the police department.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, no one was home at the time of the crash, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nj.com\/middlesex\/2026\/08\/tesla-ends-up-in-a-kitchen-after-crashing-into-nj-home-police-say.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NJ.com<\/a> reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The driver \u201csuffered a medical condition\u201d before to the crash and was transported to a local hospital.<\/p>\n<p>A small gas leak was also reported at the home following the collision.<\/p>\n<p>Nearby homes were briefly evacuated and code inspectors will determine when the home is safe to be reoccupied, according to the
