Moviegoers have wondered if \u201cOak Street\u201d would feature dog violence ever since the film\u2019s trailer revealed Starbuck, the trusted canine of the film\u2019s central family (Hathaway plays matriarch Denise). <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cI feel like movies that kill dogs should automatically be rated R,\u201d Hathaway said. \u201cDoesn\u2019t matter if anybody curses, doesn\u2019t matter if there\u2019s violence, if a dog dies, R-rated\u2026 I think everybody\u2019s so traumatized by\u00a0\u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/john-wick\/\" id=\"auto-tag_john-wick\" data-tag=\"john-wick\">John Wick<\/a>,\u2019 because I\u2019ve been seeing those [comments for our movie] like, \u2018They better not kill the dog.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Which movies are out there killing dogs that everybody\u2019s scared that we\u2019re just casually doing it in movies now?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cSomebody was like, can you just let the audiences know that, like, it\u2019s all gonna be OK?\u2019\u201d Hathaway added about Starbuck\u2019s fate in her new movie. \u201cWe break rules in this movie, that might not be one of them.
