He&#8217;s gonna be confirmed and what&#8217;s he \u2014 he&#8217;s gonna overturn <em>Roe v Wade<\/em>. We&#8217;re all sitting around, all these men who have these powerful platforms are sitting around and watching this happen to women, to communities that you could instead be supporting. You don&#8217;t have to, like, turn over a whole new leaf, it&#8217;s just about being a decent human being.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Senate voted last week to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/news\/senate-votes-before-sunrise-to-confirm-todd-blanche-as-u-s-attorney-general\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">confirm<\/a> Blanche as attorney general.<\/p>\n<p>The Supreme Court <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/news\/breaking-supreme-court-officially-overturns-roe-v-wade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">overturned<\/a> <em>Roe v Wade<\/em> in 2022 in a 5-4 decision. Handler commented on the news at the time when she was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=v0PH1EaFFug\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">filling in<\/a> for <strong>Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong> on his late-night show.<\/p>\n<p>Handler went on to complain about Rogan more and move on to different subjects without explaining how <a href=\"https:\/\/supreme.justia.com\/cases\/federal\/us\/410\/113\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Roe v Wade<\/em><\/a> could be overturned twice. She could possibly have been referring to broader abortion access concerns with Blanche. Politico <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/newsletters\/politico-pulse\/2026\/08\/04\/blanche-commits-to-abortion-access-rollback-01023482\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> earlier this month that Blanche had committed in a private call with religious leaders to rolling back access to abortion nationwide. The call was held while Blanche&#8217;s confirmation was still undecided.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/tag\/chelsea-handler\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Handler&#8217;s<\/a> fretting that Blanche will &#8220;overturn&#8221; <em>Roe v Wade<\/em> led to conservatives like<strong> Dean Cain<\/strong> and <strong>Joe Concha<\/strong> pouncing all over the comment and blasting her as out of touch and misinformed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Chelsea Handler isn\u2019t the brightest crayon in the box,&#8221; journalist <strong>Breanna Morello<\/strong> commented on X.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed_container\" id=\"c72c440975273ee93c95306d82a14987\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Chelsea Handler isn\u2019t the brightest crayon in the box.<\/p>\n<p>She accuses Todd Blanche of potentially overturning Roe v.
