This past month, billion-dollar blockbusters \u201cThe Odyssey\u201d and <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/film\/news\/spider-man-brand-new-day-leaked-high-quality-1236825389\/\">\u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d<\/a> both leaked onto X after their theatrical releases. This is far from the first time a \u201cSpider-Man\u201d movie has been targeted; the trailer for 2021\u2019s \u201cSpider-Man: No Way Home\u201d had also leaked weeks before debuting publicly online.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tEarlier this year, the full version of \u201cAvatar Aang: The Last Airbender\u201d also leaked onto X months before its Paramount+ streaming release. A 26-year-old man was later arrested in Singapore for illegally accessing a media server and leaking the film. The \u201cAvatar Aang\u201d cast and original \u201cLast Airbender\u201d stars soon spoke out against the breach and urged fans to not watch the unauthorized version.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cThere\u2019s something about respecting the intentions of the creators and many artists who poured years of their life into this.
