The track has been going pretty viral as she recently performed it at Angie Martinez\u2019s BBQ. Clearly her bars hit home as Papoose decided to trade rap bars for legal filings. Instead of hopping in the studio to clap back, the Brooklyn rapper had his lawyers serve up a\u00a0\u00a0cease and desist demanding she scrub the song off the face of the internet immediately!<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Legal documents show that on April 18, Pap\u2019s lawyer, Shelley Albert, sent off a stern letter directly to Remy\u2019s attorney, Diane Bowman, in connection with their ongoing divorce case (<em>Willie Shamele Mackie v. Reminisce Mackie<\/em>). Papoose\u2019s legal team blasted the rap veteran for unleashing a recording stacked with \u201cprofane, insulting, and highly negative remarks\u201d designed to embarrass him publicly. The C&amp;D didn\u2019t hold back either, literally copy-pasting Remy\u2019s lyrics:\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe nerve of n\u2014s claiming that they wrote those hits \/ when their whole career they ain\u2019t never ghost wrote s\u2014t \/ not for me or anybody else \/ you always acting like you helping n\u2014g go help yo self\u201d\u2014and called out her blows aimed at Claressa, including: \u201cIn competition w\/ herself, I don\u2019t know that b\u2014h. Hoes be doing the most over so-so d\u2014k\u2026 You want to be a baddie but you ain\u2019t bad enough.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pap\u2019s camp argues that Remy\u2019s public disses are way out of line, especially since both sides were actively working on non-disparagement agreements behind the scenes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They warned that dragging their personal beef into the public spotlight poses serious emotional harm to their young daughter, Reminisce Mackenzie. The letter specifically points out that \u201cparties in a family matter should be mindful that their conduct today can have lasting consequences for their child tomorrow,\u201d while claiming that both Papoose and Claressa Shields have previously done interviews maintaining they hold zero ill will toward Remy\u2026<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, Remy Ma, who is still technically married to Papoose, has been mentioned in several of their interviews. While she has tried her best to refrain from clapping back, it\u2019s clear she had enough and is letting her music do all the talking.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<\/figure>\n<h2>More On The Cease And Desist:<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pap and Shields\u2019 ultimatum is clear: Remy needs to immediately cease and desist all publication of the track and delete the offending material without delay. If she doesn\u2019t comply, Papoose\u2019s lawyers warned they\u2019re fully prepared to amend their court filings to hit her with a formal lawsuit for defamation and drag her for legal fees.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of right now, Remy hasn\u2019t publicly addressed the legal threat or pulled the track.
