Lightdox is handling international sales.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tSchillaci, born in Palermo, Sicily and based in Paris, is a novelist and filmmaker. His 2024 feature documentary <em>Bosco Grande<\/em> also premiered in the Giornate degli Autori in Venice and went on to win the Grand Prix at the National Competition at FIPADOC Biarritz. His additional directing credits include <em>Tranzicion \u2013 art et pouvoir en Albanie<\/em> (2017), <em>L\u2019ombra del padrino<\/em> (2016), <em>Apolitics Now! <\/em>(2013), and <em>The Cambodian Room: Situations with Antoine D\u2019Agata<\/em> (2009), co-directed by Tommaso Lusena.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn a director\u2019s statement, Schillaci recalled sharing the archival video of Bouyahmed with his protagonist.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cHe came to my editing studio, sat down in front of a screen, and I showed him the footage of his youth,\u201d Schillaci writes. \u201cThe screen became, in the truest sense, a machine for recovering memory: frame by frame, something reawakened within him.
