Jon then moved in with his father and grandmother, before losing his father while he was at university.<\/p>\n<p id=\"eSK4uE7HpeLB\" data-wc=\"41\">&#8220;Losing both parents at a young age gave me a sense that you can&#8217;t really control life, so you&#8217;d better live it while it&#8217;s here,&#8221; he explained at the time. &#8220;I stopped believing in a storybook existence a long time ago.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2 data-wc=\"7\" id=\"h2-4mssp7zwh\">Jon&#8217;s views on marriage were equally complicated<\/h2>\n<p id=\"e6Xf-QJWw4nF\" data-wc=\"25\">For many years, Jon was just as doubtful about marriage. That changed after he fell in love with Anna.<\/p>\n<h2 data-wc=\"6\" id=\"h2-4mssp7zwi\">Meeting Anna Osceola changed Jon&#8217;s outlook<\/h2>\n<p id=\"eAtoLPUhnbZ9\" data-wc=\"44\">Jon and Anna first met in 2015 when she appeared in the series finale of Mad Men. They reportedly began dating in 2020 and married three years later at Anderson Canyon in Big Sur, the same location where the show&#8217;s famous finale was filmed.<\/p>\n<p id=\"eF0IC3FNwpjk\" data-wc=\"62\">By then, Jon was talking about commitment very differently. It was so emotional, and it felt right.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2 data-wc=\"9\" id=\"h2-4mssp7zwk\">Jon finally revealed he wanted to become a father<\/h2>\n<p id=\"eHE9sAVX-xOm\" data-wc=\"31\">By the following year, Jon&#8217;s feelings about children had become far more definitive.
