He uses his strength and fundamentals nicely to get rebounds, racking up almost 8 a game last season as a sophomore. He gets nice buckets too, scoring from all 3 levels and being a dangerous player when the ball is in his hands. I am excited to see his growth on the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"&quot;text-gray-700&quot; wp-block-paragraph\">Mataia plays composed under pressure, being able to stay patient with the ball in his hands. James knows which gaps to attack, getting downhill with strength when he chooses too. He can finish through contact, absorbing it well and being able to stay aggressive throughout the game. West Valley has a lot of talent for next season, they are a team to keep an eye on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"&quot;text-gray-700&quot; wp-block-paragraph\">Kelan continues to grow on and off the court, being able to use his offensive game to standout and get easy buckets. He creates well for himself with the dribble, getting to his spots or finding open teammates with smooth passes. He doesn&#8217;t need much space to get his shot off either, being able to utilize his step-back and length to his advantage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"&quot;text-gray-700&quot; wp-block-paragraph\">Jett is one of my favorite guards to watch in the state. He plays aggressively, utilizing a nice bump when attacking and needing to create space for himself. His deep shot is reliable as he can catch fire from deep and hit multiple in a game if he finds his rhythm.
