He recalled someone asking a publicist about his sexuality, and the publicist did not give an answer the media wanted to hear.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThat turned into, \u2018That\u2019s weird for him to say because we know that he\u2019s gay, and why is he doing that?\u2019 Then it became, \u2018I\u2019m gonna have to say something,&#8217;\u201d Harris continued. Friends of the twins revealed to Burtka, after some light investigation, that the kids genuinely like having them as parents and consider them \u201ccool dads.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the flipside, Burtka and Harris have realized that raising increasingly independent high schoolers has also required them to adjust their roles.
