When it premiered on UPN in 2001, <em>Enterprise<\/em> was the red-headed stepchild of the <em>Star Trek<\/em> franchise. Joined by her cast mates Scott Bakula, Connor Trinneer, Dominic Keating, Anthony Montgomery, and Vaughn Armstrong, Linda Park&#8217;s character, Ensign Hoshi Sato, was promoted in front of thousands of fans (with a little help from Bakula). Watch <em>TrekMovie<\/em>&#8216;s Bluesky post of Hoshi&#8217;s promotion below:<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s unclear what &#8216;higher rank&#8217; that Hoshi Sato was promoted to at STLV. Sato held the rank of ensign throughout <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/star-trek-enterprise-season-ranked-worst-best\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Star Trek: Enterprise<\/em>&#8216;s four seasons<\/a>, so it was likely a bump up one rank on the Starfleet ladder to Lieutenant, junior grade.
