My cheek bone on my left side is also fractured,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cI don\u2019t remember it at all. I woke up an unverified amount of time later,\u201d Phillips posted on social media. <span class=\"credit\">Christen Alyse Phillips\/Facebook<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Onslow County Sheriff\u2019s Office\u00a0confirmed Shockley was arrested on Monday in connection to the incident.<\/p>\n<p>He is charged with\u00a0assault with a deadly weapon\u00a0with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury, records say.<\/p>\n<p>Sheriff Chris Thomas said in a statement:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe understand the public does not see what goes into every investigation and a case like this can make citizens uneasy. We appreciate the number of tips and leads the public provided us.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur detectives follow every lead, carefully work through the evidence, and continue to pursue answers even when the investigation presents challenges. Their hard work ultimately led them to identify a suspect and make an arrest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a statement sent to Fox News Digital a spokesperson for DoorDash said, \u201cWhat this Dasher went through is horrific, and we\u2019re relieved she\u2019s safe and on the road to recovery.
