recap<\/a> for Thursday, August 13, reveals that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will spill some shocking news to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), so let\u2019s talk about the secret Jill Abbott (last played by Lauren Koslow) has been keeping.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the park caf\u00e9, Billy will meet up with Kyle and Jack, so they\u2019ll listen as he explains what he\u2019s uncovered.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It turns out John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) was the one who saved Chancellor from bankruptcy before Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) ever took over the company.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, Billy will insist it wasn\u2019t just a favor between friends.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Billy also uncovered a specific business agreement between John and Philip Chancellor II (Donnelly Rhodes) with an important provision.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the contract, Philip and Chancellor had 20 years to pay off the debt or else John and his heirs would get outright ownership.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Billy will note that Philip died back in 1975.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since there\u2019ll be no proof in the paperwork that the debt was paid off, Billy will point out that the Abbotts may own all of Chancellor Industries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At his rehab facility, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will attend a meeting and open up about the difficult night he just had with a woman at a motel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Marie Kirland (Jade Harlow) will come along after being released from the hospital and pipe up about how Nick saved that woman\u2019s life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once the meeting is over, Marie will thank Nick and lighten the mood a bit by cracking jokes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Marie won\u2019t know if she\u2019s going to stick with rehab, but she\u2019ll acknowledge that she\u2019s there now and urge Nick to take that win.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will talk to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) about Nick calling her in the middle of the night to come get him at a motel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sharon will reflect on how broken Nick was when she found him and will explain that he reached a low point with a woman he met there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mariah will note that Sharon always comes running when people need her and will seem worried about her mom doing too much.
