One officer can be seen pulling out his hand gun and pointing it toward Molina\u2019s window as the two argue.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr1_ab\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cYou almost ran us over,\u201d the officer says in the video recorded by Molina before warning her, \u201cI will arrest you. Keep it up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Molina denied trying to strike the officers with her car and told them she was recording the confrontation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was looking down a barrel, and he could have shot me, and he could have gotten away with it,\u201d Molina told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wusa9.com\/article\/news\/local\/virginia\/he-could-have-shot-me-northern-virginia-woman-federal-agent-ice-pointed-gun-at-her\/65-0b505c60-8b79-4a1f-9941-4c3a08bf146b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CNN affiliate WUSA9<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The officers eventually walked away without taking her into custody, and she has not been charged, according to Molina.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) offered a different account Tuesday, accusing an unnamed woman of interfering with an immigration enforcement operation and attempting to endanger the officers with her vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>A DHS spokesperson referred to the woman as \u201can anti-ICE agitator\u201d in a statement, saying she drove her vehicle \u201cin circles around our ICE officers and then attempted to harm officers by weaponizing her vehicle against them\u2014all in an attempt to help illegal aliens get away.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr2_ab\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The videos captured by Molina show the confrontation after officers surrounded her vehicle but do not show what occurred beforehand. During the portion captured on video, her car appears stationary as officers approach it.<\/p>\n<p>Molina, a licensed mental health counselor who works with people navigating the immigration system, said in an interview that she wanted the agency to be held accountable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know my laws. I\u2019m an American citizen. I have the right. I have my First Amendment rights. I can say what I want, and I don\u2019t feel like I should have a gun pointed to my head because you didn\u2019t like being called a h\u2013,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mr3_ab\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.), who represents Falls Church, slammed the officers\u2019 conduct and said his office had been in touch with Molina.<\/p>\n<p>He said he \u201cwill be demanding answers and consequences,\u201d arguing the episode reflected what he described as a pattern of unnecessary escalation by immigration officers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis kind of misconduct and threat of force against members of our communities cannot be tolerated,\u201d he said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RepDonBeyer\/status\/2087280656703201448?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statement on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media Inc.
