But in August, she seems deadset on making up for dormant time. She appeared at a pair of festivals on back-to-back nights to start the month \u2014\u00a0Osheaga on Aug. 1 and Lollpalooza on Aug. 2 \u2014\u00a0including a much-buzzed-about moment to close the latter set where she quickly dipped herself in gold body paint. And she also began teasing new visuals<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DbRFRblGYw-\/?igsh=MTluZnZsenZzZ2E3ag%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\">on her Instagram account,<\/a> leading fans to believe that a new era is imminent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAs a result of all the increased attention surrounding McRae \u2014\u00a0after a long period of dormancy, relatively speaking \u2014\u00a0many fans returned to her discography on DSPs. For the five days after her two festival dates (Aug. 3-7), her complete catalog totaled over 38.3 million official on-demand U.S. streams, up nearly six million and 18% from just under 32.6 million streams she racked up across the same five-day period the prior week (July 27-30), according to Luminate. The accompanying sound now plays in over 201,000 posts, while Tove Lo\u2019s \u201cTalking Body\u201d TikTok sound has surged to over 1.9 million views. By July 30, TikTok user @\/realz4y combined a few Dallas-sourced \u201cbend\u201d moves for a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@realz4y\/video\/7668423554148404511?is_from_webapp=1&amp;sender_device=pc&amp;web_id=7517014253786678815\">dance challenge<\/a> that also went viral. His <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@realz4y\/video\/7671396102578425119?is_from_webapp=1&amp;sender_device=pc&amp;web_id=7517014253786678815\">Aug. 8 post<\/a> of the choreography currently boasts over 5.8 million views and 700,000 likes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAccording to Luminate, \u201cBodiez\u201d earned a negligible amount of official on-demand U.S. streams during the week of July 31-Aug. 2, with that number exploding by 10,439% to over 16,400 official on-demand U.S. streams two weeks later (Aug. 7-10). That post currently boasts over 620,000 views, and by Aug. 5, user @\/realz4y \u2014 yes, the same high school football player who created the \u201cTalking Bodiez\u201d dance trend \u2014 used the sound for <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@realz4y\/video\/7670381752803740958?is_from_webapp=1&amp;sender_device=pc&amp;web_id=7517014253786678815\">yet another dance challenge<\/a>. That post has since hit over 325,000 views, inspiring hundreds of other users to put their own spin on the dance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tEarlier in the month (July 10) \u2014 the same day as the first JA\u0178 30 show at Yankee stadium \u2014 user @\/zodyorr shared a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@zodyorr\/video\/7661079574364589342?is_from_webapp=1&amp;sender_device=pc&amp;web_id=7517014253786678815\">two-person dance challenge<\/a> set to the original version of \u201cSuit &amp; Tie,\u201d which collected over one million views.
