A suspect is in custody.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Houston County Sheriff&#8217;s Office reports that the shooting happened at Warner Robins High School. The sheriff&#8217;s office said that one student was injured in the gunfire and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The sheriff&#8217;s office had initially stated that two people were injured, but Houston County Sheriff Matt Moulton   later clarified that only one person was hurt.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The suspect was taken into custody and the school was secure, deputies said. The circumstances of the shooting were unclear. No details were immediately confirmed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The incident shut down surrounding roads. Moulton asked residents to avoid the area.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Please avoid the area and use alternate routes to allow first responders to safely perform their duties,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/houstoncountysheriffGA\/posts\/pfbid02ZJ1KBA9Fe2Aa28hFjrEZkE6KAfWP1PKryuQZQX8cfFUSEtGvtHXFtEFSQetekvygl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he wrote<\/a> in a social media post.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement on X, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/GovKemp\/status\/2087637636676493390\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gov.
