Silly? Sure, which is probably what prompted Buzz Feed Canada to call <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/julie-chen-moonves\/\" id=\"auto-tag_julie-chen-moonves\" data-tag=\"julie-chen-moonves\">Julie Chen Moonves<\/a>\u2018 employer \u201cthe most embarrassing show on TV right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThat didn\u2019t sit well with former <em>BB<\/em> player Frankie Grande, Ariana\u2019s brother who became a household name after appearing on season 16 of CBS\u2019 summer hit. He told the outlet to \u201cshut up\u201d and that \u201ccamp is part of its DNA and charm.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tLet us backup and explain. <em>BB<\/em>13 winner-cum-fan favorite Rachel Reilly \u2014 who had returned last summer to play the game for a third time \u2014 was invited back for Thursday\u2019s premiere. The 14 new houseguests expected that Reilly \u2014 along with <em>BB<\/em>26\u2019s Angela Murray and <em>Survivor 50<\/em>\u2018s Rick Devens \u2014 were joining the game. The theme this summer is time travel, so the cast was expected to \u201ctravel back in time\u201d to the Jurassic Period to see who would become their first HOH.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tOnly the three reality show veterans were eligible to compete.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe backyard was transformed into a jungle while the cast donned leopard skinned dresses and hairy skivvies. Right after Chen Moonves asked Reilly what it felt like to appear in back-to-back BBs, a velociraptor suddenly appeared and proceeded to drive Reilly into a volcano. Chen Moonves promised to find someone to take her place, however. (On Friday\u2019s episode of <em>Big Brother: Unlocked<\/em>, it was revealed that it was <em>Survivor 50\u2019s<\/em> Dee Valladares).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAnyway, the prehistoric shenanigans prompted Buzz Feed Canada to call out the show\u2019s \u201cabsurd choices\u201d before saying, \u201cthere\u2019s camp, and then there\u2019s whatever this is. Why do we still watch this?\u201d That\u2019s when Grande replied to the <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DaniE9sFt3w\/?img_index=2&amp;igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==\" target=\"_blank\">outlet\u2019s post on Instagram <\/a>by saying it\u2019s part of the show\u2019s DNA and adding, \u201cno one is forcing you to watch.\u201d Fight the good fight, Frankie!<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDevens and Valladares are the second and third <em>Survivor<\/em> players to compete on <em>Big Brother.<\/em> Cirie Fields was the first in 2023.
