Nobody really cares that you\u2019re famous,\u201d O\u2019Donnell, 64, shared on the Tuesday, August 11, episode of the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/E5kQw31iynk?si=obus7l7-iFngD5Am\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\">Good Hang<\/span><\/a>\u201d podcast. \u201cNow when people knew that I moved there, people would say, \u2018Welcome, Rosie. Welcome to Ireland. You belong here.\u2019 It\u2019s so sweet.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">One memory that O\u2019Donnell won\u2019t forget was when she visited a beer garden and found herself sitting next to a couple and their 2-year-old baby.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">After spending nearly two and a half hours chatting away, the comedian thanked them for being so lovely and friendly. You thought you\u2019d wait till the end of the dinner to bring that up?\u2019 Like being funny, right?\u201d O\u2019Donnell recalled to podcast host <strong>Amy Poehler<\/strong>. \u201cAnd she goes, \u2018Well, surely it\u2019s not the most important thing now, is it?\u2019 I thought it was a sentence you\u2019d never hear in America. It\u2019s not the most important thing about you. People have been so welcoming, so accepting, and they have a different view of celebrity in the culture here,\u201d O\u2019Donnell, 63, told Variety in an interview published on Thursday, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cIt\u2019s been very beautiful and very, very healing for me,\u201d O\u2019Donnell continued when describing her life in Ireland. \u201cPeople say they notice a difference and I think I\u2019m just calmer. I\u2019m calmer being over there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The former cohost of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/shows\/the-view\/\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>The View<\/i><\/span><\/a> still makes plenty of trips to the States.
