The Texas attorney general has faced scrutiny over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/news\/texas-ag-abruptly-ends-and-exits-law-enforcement-presser-early-after-reporters-press-him-on-voter-fraud\/\">allegations of voter fraud<\/a> and his office\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/news\/ken-paxton-silent-as-reporter-repeatedly-asks-him-about-plea-deal-with-pedophile\/\">plea deal<\/a> with child sex predator <strong>Adam<\/strong> <strong>Hoffman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Not to mention, Paxton\u2019s marriage has provided its own source of political turmoil. His wife, Texas state Sen. <strong>Angela Paxton<\/strong> (R), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/news\/just-in-ken-paxtons-wife-announces-divorce-in-shock-statement-citing-recent-discoveries\/\">filed for divorce<\/a> last year \u201con biblical grounds,\u201d with court filings citing adultery. The divorce proceedings, which threatened to air potentially damaging details in open court, were later <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/politics\/ken-paxton-lucks-out-as-messy-divorce-trial-gets-cancelled-before-it-can-muddy-senate-campaign\/\">pulled from the trial docket<\/a> as the couple worked toward a settlement. All I can tell you is that I&#8217;m proud of my kids. I&#8217;ve got four wonderful kids. I&#8217;ve got seven grandchildren \u2014 well, six and one on the way.
