It\u2019s, like, her chill I\u2019m-gonna-go-have-a-beer-and-smoke-a-cig-outside spot. Twenty minutes into knowing each other, I was like, \u2018Should we just acknowledge the fact that our parents were married?\u2019 She was like, \u2018Yeah. Cool.\u2019 And that was it,\u201d Gere recalled.<\/p>\n<p>Years before the pair collaborated on the <strong>Ryan Murphy<\/strong> show, Homer\u2019s father, <strong>Richard Gere<\/strong>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/cindy-crawford-twins-with-kaia-at-taylor-swifts-wedding\/\">Kaia\u2019s mother, <strong>Cindy Crawford,<\/strong> <\/a>had tied the knot. The twosome, who have a 17-year age gap, eloped in Las Vegas in 1991 after dating.<\/p>\n<p>Kaia, for her part, has sung Homer\u2019s praises while promoting the show based on <strong>Bret Easton Ellis<\/strong>\u2019 horror novel of the same name.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was so nice, and honestly, he\u2019s such a joy to work with and such a lovely person,\u201d Kaia told <em>Entertainment Tonight<\/em> at the premiere in July. \u201cHe grew up East Coast, I grew up West Coast, but we\u2019ve just gotten so close. It was so last minute I wore this Armani suit. It was a nice Armani suit, but I didn\u2019t dream of getting married in a navy blue suit.
