The drummer explained that he avoided doing so because of how much he cares about his playing and the high-octane nature of blink-182\u2019s shows. There was, however, a memorable exception.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vivid-seats.pxf.io\/c\/1882189\/952533\/12730?subId1=blink-182%2Atravis-barker-high-cypress-hill-blink-182-show-button&amp;subId2=&amp;subId3=&amp;sharedid=&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.vividseats.com%2Fblink-182-tickets%2Fperformer%2F961\" class=\"button button-ticket\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Get blink-182 Tickets Here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Barker traced the story back to a stretch of touring with No Doubt and <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/artist\/cypress-hill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cypress Hill<\/a>, when B-Real and Sen Dog convinced him to smoke with them before the final show. Barker initially resisted, explaining that he normally waited until after performing, but eventually gave in after they pointed out that they would be leaving right after.<\/p>\n<p>Related Video<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDude, let me tell you, it was the longest fucking show,\u201d Barker recalled. \u201cSongs felt like they lasted forever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The effects were especially strange from behind the drum kit. \u201cIt was like my body was working, but everything up here was silent, and I was noticing stuff I don\u2019t normally notice,\u201d he said. Apparently, DeLonge wasn\u2019t having much of a better time. Halfway through the set, the guitarist came up to Barker and told him, \u201cI wanna go home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I was like, \u2018Me too,&#8217;\u201d Barker continued. \u201cIt was so awful.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/artist\/mark-hoppus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mark Hoppus<\/a>, meanwhile, had no idea what his bandmates were going through.
