In the post, she told her followers it is \u2018too late\u2019 for chemotherapy.<\/p>\n<p>In the <a data-ico=\"hyperlink-article\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/instagram\/\">Instagram<\/a> caption, she said: \u2018I\u2019m not scared of whatever comes next. I\u2019m at peace with it.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I\u2019ll see my Gracie sooner than expected, and for me, leaving my physical body just means going home. The actress penned a lengthy tribute to her pup at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside a montage of snaps with Gracie, she wrote: \u2018On Friday I had to say goodbye to the best being there is. She was nearly 17.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Because of Gracie I learned what this feeling of unconditional love is. And now I need to somehow deal with the loss of her in my life.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Davis continued: \u2018I don\u2019t really know where to start in telling who she was, she gave me everything and asked for nothing. I learned so much from her.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018For her whole life I always knew where she was at any given minute, and now I don\u2019t. That\u2019s one of the hardest parts for me.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018She was kind, generous, willful, funny, fabulously disobedient, very vocal, and so loving. She was my travel buddy, my playmate, my partner in crime, my love.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018God I was lucky. Thank you my girl. Fly free. Cancer asks a lot from us, physically and mentally.
