Shocked by her sudden breakup with Steve McBee Sr., Saltkovska was rightfully devastated when she found out he had been cheating on her with her (now former) best friend, Masha Petrova. She will never forgive Petrova for her betrayal, and Saltkovska has vowed to \u201cstay away from any situations involving her.\u201d \u201cShe\u2019s not worth it,\u201d said Saltkovska. She added: \u201cMy life is more important. I have to protect myself, my daughter [Erena Chaples], and our future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to her newfound resolve and her dedication to the business, Saltkovska is finally proving to the McBees that she was always there for the right reasons. \u201cThey can see that I wasn\u2019t just on the farm for my relationship with Steve,\u201d said Saltkovska. \u201cI always wanted to be part of the family.\u201d As CFO of <a href=\"https:\/\/mcbeefarms.com\/?srsltid=AfmBOor82n2KEnNtsRn0hUUJ_J7841icDQ-N5PD_Orvfpw5f6qZBe9fJ\">McBee Farm &amp; Cattle Co<\/a>, Saltkovska is one of the people that <a href=\"https:\/\/decider.com\/tag\/steven-mcbee-jr\/\">Steven McBee Jr.<\/a> and his brothers Jesse McBee and Cole McBee depend on the most to keep the company up and running\u2014even if they had a problem with her work-life balance. \u201cI had to start drawing boundaries,\u201d said Saltkovska. \u201cIt\u2019s okay to focus on yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Saltkovska is proud of her business partners as they navigate this tumultuous time in both the business and their personal lives. \u201cI\u2019m very proud of everything that Steven has been doing recently,\u201d said Saltkovska when asked if the boys can avoid becoming like their father in terms of their relationships with women. \u201cHe is changing his behavior and acknowledging the things he has done wrong in past relationships.\u201d If Steven or any of his brothers ever need guidance, Saltkovska will no doubt be there for them. <\/p>\n<p>Saltkovska visited the Decider studio to discuss the series, chat about the boys becoming girl dads, and respond to whether she felt \u201cbusiness trapped\u201d by Steve towards the end of their relationship.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DECIDER: Galyna, what has it been like watching this season back for you? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>GALYNA SALTKOVSKA: It has been a much better experience for me. Everybody knows that I had a rough couple of years. For me, this season was about showing who I am outside the relationship I once had with Steve while continuing to support the family and the business. <\/p>\n<p><strong>I don\u2019t know what you\u2019ve been seeing online, but I\u2019ve noticed that fans are giving you a lot of support this season. Are you glad it\u2019s clear to people that your intentions and your love for this family are genuine?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> I really appreciate that so much. You\u2019re right. I\u2019ve gotten so much support. I did not expect that, but I\u2019m so grateful. Steve Sr.\u2019s going to prison was obviously emotional for everyone. Did you get to say goodbye to him before he left? Yes, we all did. I obviously did not go with him and his family on the bus. I wanted to make sure that they had their space. <\/p>\n<p><strong>There\u2019s been a lot of talk about Steven Jr.\u2019s trying to give <a href=\"https:\/\/decider.com\/2026\/08\/10\/the-mcbee-dynasty-allie-eklund-steven-mcbee-jr-text-messages\/\">Allie Eklund 20% of the tallow business<\/a>. People are claiming that he tried to \u201cbusiness-trap\u201d her like Steve Sr. did to you. Do you feel \u201cbusiness-trapped\u201d at all?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> I do feel a little business-trapped. Though, I try not to look at it that way. I look at it as Steve giving me an opportunity because he saw something in me. Our personal relationship did not go the way I had expected, but I still appreciate the chance to be in business with the family and be part of everything. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Steve\u2019s sons have maybe inherited some of their father\u2019s less than desirable qualities when it comes to relationships. Is there hope for them to make some changes before it\u2019s too late?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> I think so, and I already see the changes, especially in Steven. I\u2019m very proud of everything that Steven has been doing recently. He is changing his behavior and acknowledging the things he\u2019s done wrong in past relationships. He knows he needs to do better in the future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The boys\u2019 reaction to Steve Sr.\u2019s making his ex-wife Kristi McBee the interim president of McBee Farm &amp; Cattle Co. was well covered, but what were your thoughts on that decision? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a lot of pressure to deal with the business. It\u2019s great to have somebody from the family to hold everyone accountable and watch over things. I was grateful to Kristi for stepping into the role. <\/p>\n<p><strong>I love Kristi, but I\u2019m afraid she\u2019s letting internet trolls get under her skin. What advice would you give her when dealing with keyboard warriors?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> Don\u2019t pay attention to any of them. If you do go look at their pages and profiles, they usually have zero followers and zero pictures. It\u2019s best not to pay attention. Also, Kristi is more successful than any internet troll will ever be.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I think when a business is having financial issues, people are eager to put the blame anywhere they can. In that vein, the boys came at you at the car wash for having work\/life balance. Were you surprised by their accusations?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> I was not incredibly surprised, just because I know their perceptions. I would advise that it\u2019s healthy to have a work\/life balance. If you\u2019re not able to have that balance, your business is not going to do well. <\/p>\n<p><strong>How did you get over that moment with the boys and move forward? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I just said, \u201cThank you for the TV show.\u201d [Laughs] One of my biggest takeaways from this experience is that I\u2019ve learned how to get over things. I have been so tough on myself my entire life, but once the show started airing, I knew I had to start drawing boundaries. It\u2019s okay to have a work\/life balance. It\u2019s okay to focus on yourself. It took me a while to understand that, but you have to have it. I am so enjoying watching the girls grow up. Having my own daughter was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Becoming a parent really does change who you are.<\/p>\n<p><strong> I can\u2019t believe they both have daughters.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> I know! And Steven is a grandfather to only girls. Let\u2019s see if he changes the way he treats women. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Speaking of Steve\u2019s women, his girlfriend Masha Petrova has been testing you this season. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I call her \u201cMashed Potatoes\u201d now [laughs]. <\/p>\n<p><strong>You can call her whatever you want! Although you\u2019ve had some dustups in the past\u2014and I\u2019m putting that kindly\u2014you\u2019ve handled yourself very well and allowed people to see that she is the real instigator. Do you think you\u2019ll ever let her get under your skin again? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>She definitely knows how to get my blood boiling. That\u2019s why I stay away from any situations involving her now. It\u2019s not worth it. She\u2019s not worth it. My life is more important. I have to protect myself, my daughter, and our future. So, I\u2019m passing on mashed potatoes, thanks [laughs]. She\u2019s in the past now. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Masha even tried to come for Kristi, which didn\u2019t end well for her. The McBees can see how much you care for them. Does it feel good to know that the family now trusts and appreciates you? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Absolutely. They can see that I wasn\u2019t just on the farm for my relationship with Steve. I always wanted to be part of the family. I want to help build something together. I am glad that they are seeing it now. It\u2019s extremely rewarding. <\/p>\n<p><strong>I was so glad to see that Kacie and the girls invited you to her Bachelorette party in Vegas! What did it mean to you to be included?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> I was sad that I wasn\u2019t there for the engagement, but so happy to be able to join the girls in Vegas. Honestly, I haven\u2019t been to a lot of Bachelorette parties. The only Bachelorette outing I went to before this was Alexis Bellino\u2019s party. That was a different vibe [laughs]. Kacie\u2019s Bachelorette night was a full-out party with strippers! Those guys were so hot. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Did you all stay out late?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> I was not out as late as the rest of the crew. My age is getting to me [laughs]. I was like, \u201cI\u2019m checking out; I will let you youngsters do your thing.\u201d I know that they had so much fun, and I\u2019m still thinking about those guys! <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Dbqq3AEFBME\/?img_index=1\">Kacie and Cole just had their second daughter, Tate<\/a>. When did you hear the news? Will you get to meet her soon?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I found out the next morning. It was very unexpected. Cole called me and told me all about the experience before I had to fly here. As soon as I\u2019m back in Kansas City, I will make sure to meet their new little one because I freaking adore that family. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Lastly, what can you tease about the rest of the season? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All I can say is that the season finale is going to be a reality TV spectacle.
