RTL said it now expects \u200b2026 revenue of \u20ac7.1 to \u20ac7.2 billion, ($8.20 \u200bbillion-$8.32 billion), up from its previous \u2060forecast of \u20ac6.1 billion to \u20ac6.2 billion that it \u200bissued in March.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe deal will see Sky Deutschland merge with RTL+, creating a streaming platform with 12.4 million paid subscriptions across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The company\u2019s streaming operations also include M6+ in France.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAdjusted EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) was \u20ac239 million ($275 million) during the January-June period, up almost 50% from a year \u200bago.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cOur streaming businesses deliver strong profitability,\u201d said RTL Group CEO Cl\u00e9ment Schwebig in a statement. \u201cStreaming revenue and paid subscriptions continue to grow dynamically. As a result, streaming is now expected to contribute around \u20ac100 million ($115 million) to our full-year operating profit,\u201d he added. \u201cWe are now the clear No. 3 in the German-speaking streaming market,\u201d Schwebig went on to note, calling the Sky Deutschland deal \u201ctransformational\u201d for RTL.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tRTL\u2019s streaming boost compensated for drops in its traditional TV business, where advertising revenue fell 4% while its production operations at Fremantle were down 7.7% year-on-year at $964 million (\u20ac835 million).
