As Captain Sandy says, teamwork makes the dreamwork. The pressure is also on for Cooper and Kat. Cracks are starting to form in their relationship, thanks to outside influences. But thankfully, a day off is on the calendar, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realitytea.com\/2026\/07\/30\/below-deck-mediterranean-season-11-midseason-trailer\/\">and someone new(ish)<\/a> has finally been hired to alleviate the crew\u2019s pressures.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-joe-is-the-acting-bosun-of-below-deck-med-season-11\">Joe is the \u201cacting bosun\u201d of Below Deck Med Season 11<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"683\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.realitytea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2026\/07\/Untitled-design16-e1783624983222.png?w=1024\" alt=\"Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 Episode 10\" class=\"wp-image-1175266\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo Credit: Fred Jagueneau\/Bravo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For the first time in Captain Sandy\u2019s career, she is down a bosun and a deckhand, and her chief stew is working outside. There are only two fully capable deckhands now, since Cooper is green. Thankfully, Joy is eager to \u201csee what is outside of this world.\u201d So, Captain Sandy makes her an honorary deckie for tomorrow\u2019s docking.<\/p>\n<p>During dinner service, Kayley impresses everyone but Gen. If her former bosses could see her now, serving caviar and oysters on bread plates, they\u2019d die, she promises in her confessional. The guests couldn\u2019t care less, though.<\/p>\n<p>In the morning, Joe flashes Kayley, and she semi-reciprocates, laughing. Cooper also laughs, because those two are \u201con the same wavelength.\u201d But when it comes to him and Kat, Cooper feels pressured by everyone talking about their crush. So no, he tells a producer, he and Kat are NOT \u201con the same wavelength.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s finally docking time! Kayley, Gen, and Kat also head outside, and Joe gives them all a quick lesson. Joy gets the hardest assignment, working the anchor. Her hands are insured, though, \u201cup to 700k,\u201d so she\u2019s fine with it.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s tense, but everything goes well. Back in the galley, Joy receives a text from Luke. He is thinking about her, he says. \u201cGood,\u201d she writes back.<\/p>\n<p>The guests depart, leaving a $21,000 tip. Nathan is still down, though, so Captain Sandy needs Aesha and Kayley to stay where they are. Aesha clocks her, though, kindly reminding Gen to respect Kayley.<\/p>\n<p>In her confessional, Gen boasts about her resume. She also wonders why Aesha is \u201cso accepting of these little slip-ups.\u201d After their talk, Gen walks away, mumbling, while Aesha admits that Gen is good at her job, but she needs to learn how to \u201cuplift, not backstab.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But that\u2019s not going to happen today. Instead, Gen hopes their next group is hard, so \u201ccracks will show.\u201d Also, Gen prefers leaders who yell and micromanage, she tells a shocked Kat.<\/p>\n<p>The crew heads out to dinner, which happens to be in the sky. They buckle into their seats, and the crane activates, giving them views for days. There\u2019s an awkward energy between Kat and Cooper, though. And when Luke texts Joy again, Gen sighs, confused <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realitytea.com\/2026\/08\/05\/below-deck-med-luke-brumer-second-chance-wwhl-feature\/\">by the grace<\/a> Joy keeps extending.<\/p>\n<p>In their sprinter van, Joy warns Cooper that if he breaks Kat\u2019s heart, she will break his face. This is what Cooper hates, though, everyone\u2019s comments. So at the club, he decides to dance with a random woman. Kat leaves, crying.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, Joe tests the waters with Kayley, asking her if she\u2019d get mad about him talking to another woman. Kayley will not, she says. She passed the test, Joe tells her. She hired a pirate ship to take the crew to the beach. Insert all the \u201carghhs\u201d here.<\/p>\n<p>On the ship, Cooper approaches Kat, but shortly after, he walks away. Kat is the marrying kind, you idiot, Joy basically tells him. On the beach, Luke sends Joy even more texts, but when Gen asks people not to talk about him, they don\u2019t listen. Gen walks away, mad.<\/p>\n<p>Cooper checks on her, and they return to the group. Back on the yacht, a text finally comes through. One of Captain Sandy\u2019s former Bravo yachties is free to come aboard!<\/p>\n<p>Then, Cooper randomly (and quickly) ends things with Kat. To break the tension, Aesha rattles a maraca, incessantly, for the rest of the night. On the boat, Kat texts Cooper, and they agree to meet in the bosun\u2019s locker.<\/p>\n<p>They are both tired of outside voices. They agree to stay together, but tell everyone the opposite. Yeah \u2026 I hate this.<\/p>\n<p>In the morning, Joe receives his bosun stripes, and Kayley <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realitytea.com\/2026\/06\/10\/below-deck-mediterranean-season-11-predictions-after-episode-1\/\">tries to make peace<\/a> with Gen. Gen smiles, but in her interview, she makes a joke about Kayley being on fire, saying she would help, but not use her strongest hose. Yeah \u2026 I hate this, too.<\/p>\n<p>As Episode 10 ends, we finally learn who is returning to Below Deck Med. It\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realitytea.com\/tag\/max-salvador\">Max Salvador-Holz<\/a>, and he is already on board, somersaulting his way down the hall.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bravotv.com\/below-deck-mediterranean\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Below Deck Mediterranean<\/a> continues Mondays at 8\/7c on Bravo.
