In a new batch of photos posted to Instagram and X, Megan had two  message written across\u2013very appropraietly for the occassion\u2013her back.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first message on the Houston hottie\u2019s toned back is \u201cAct III,\u201d with a following image revealing another message:\u00a0\u201cI\u2019M BACK.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The posts also included a stylized image teasing the title of the upcoming project, sending her fans into speculation mode about when they can actually expect the next chapter of her music.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Megan\u2019s last major project,\u00a0<em>Act II<\/em>, arrived in October 2024 as a deluxe edition of her\u00a0<em>Megan<\/em>\u00a0album. The project included \u201cNeva Play,\u201d her collaboration with BTS\u2019 RM, which reached No. 36 on the Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x\"\/>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since then, Megan has kept fans fed with a handful of new songs, including \u201cWhenever\u201d and \u201cLover Girl.\u201d It\u2019s still unclear whether either track will ultimately appear on\u00a0<em>Act III<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As for the release date, Megan has already told fans to expect the project sometime in 2026. During a January interview with\u00a0<em><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/megan-thee-stallion-says-she-releases-emotions-when-she-hits-the-gym-exclusive-11887462\">People<\/a><\/em>, she said she was finishing up\u00a0<em>Act III<\/em>\u00a0and that the music would be arriving this year, while asking fans to give her a little more time.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m definitely in the studio. I\u2019m kind of hiding from everybody right now because I really just want to work,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cThe Hotties just need to give me a little time. I\u2019ll be in the gym and the studio \u2014 the gym and the studio.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And Megan hasn\u2019t exactly been sitting around waiting for the album to drop. So far this year, she\u2019s focused heavily on collaborations, appearing on Juvenile\u2019s \u201cB.B.B.\u201d and the remix of BossMan Dlow\u2019s \u201cMotion Party.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She\u2019s also continued expanding her acting r\u00e9sum\u00e9. Megan appeared in Chandler Levack\u2019s\u00a0<em>Roommates<\/em> and landed a role in the NBC comedy\u00a0<em>The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins<\/em>. Earlier this year, she made her Broadway debut in\u00a0<em>Moulin Rouge! The Musical<\/em>.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\u00a0<em>Act III<\/em>\u00a0rollout also comes after a very different chapter in Megan\u2019s personal life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Megan and NBA star Klay Thompson went public with their relationship in 2025 after dating rumors began circulating that summer. The two made their red-carpet debut at Megan\u2019s Pete &amp; Thomas Foundation Gala in New York in July 2025, and the relationship quickly became a regular part of their public lives.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sadly, the pair broke up on April 25, 2026, after less than a year of dating. Megan publicly accused Klay of infidelity and poor treatment on her Instagram stories before confirming the split to multiple outlets.
