However, despite this impressive run, plenty of fans were still left wanting more. Studios&#8217; earliest venture into<em> The Expanse<\/em> universe was released in 2017\u20132018 and explored the backstories of major characters, including James Holden, Naomi Nagata, Amos Burton, and Alex Kamal.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, BOOM! Studios&#8217; <em>The Expanse<\/em> #1\u20134, released in 2020\u20132021 while the TV series was still airing, canonically taking place between Seasons 4 and 5. This miniseries followed Bobbie Draper and Chrisjen Avasarala, filling in some of what happens during that period of the show.<\/p>\n<p>And, of course, perhaps BOOM!
