The charity, which rescued Mamma Mia from a breeding facility alongside her puppies, shared a throwback clip of the pup nursing a litter of puppies before her adoption.<\/p>\n<h2 data-wc=\"6\" id=\"h2-4msn7o7on\">Meghan Markle&#8217;s special interest in Mia<\/h2>\n<p id=\"ebSC6J--aN\" data-wc=\"22\">During the video, it was explained that Meghan had personally called the charity&#8217;s founder, Shannon Keith, to express her interest in adoption.<\/p>\n<p id=\"eWZhvD4Fly\" data-wc=\"55\">As it was explained, it wasn&#8217;t long after that the Sussexes were in the backyard of the charity headquarters playing with Mia. Four years later, the rescue dog is happily living with the couple at their <span class=\"fr-deletable gd-content-undefined\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-type=\"mention\/article\"><a class=\"hm-link he-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hellomagazine.com\/royalty\/488722\/meghan-markle-archie-walks-family-dog-video\/\">home in Montecito, California<\/a><\/span>, and is known by millions as one of the most famous dogs in the world.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ecp6Bsl89l\" data-wc=\"52\">Mia was recently featured in <span class=\"fr-deletable gd-content-undefined\" contenteditable=\"false\" data-type=\"mention\/article\"><a class=\"hm-link he-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hellomagazine.com\/royalty\/916771\/meghan-markle-glimpse-rarely-seen-family-members-celebrates-45th-birthday\/\">Meghan&#8217;s 45th birthday post<\/a><\/span>, with the Duchess and her husband seen happily dancing around the kitchen with both dogs.
