He was 31.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/10\/17\/celebrity-news\/liam-payne-fractured-skull-in-fatal-fall-from-hotel-balcony\/\">According to\u00a0an autopsy<\/a>, he fell while\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/11\/25\/celebrity-news\/liam-payne-was-trying-to-escape-hotel-room-using-the-balcony-before-he-fell-to-his-death-report\/\">attempting to flee<\/a> his room after\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/10\/21\/celebrity-news\/liam-payne-had-multiple-drugs-including-crack-and-cocaine-in-his-system-at-time-of-fatal-fall-sources\/\">consuming alcohol and drugs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>He was also spotted chatting with hotel staff. <span class=\"credit\">Argentina Police<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Payne was also seen chatting with two women. <span class=\"credit\">Argentina Police<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A toxicology report determined that Payne had consumed <a href=\"http:\/\/ocaine,%20crack%20and%20benzodiazepine,%20which%20is%20a%20type%20of%20depressant,%20in%20his%20body%20when%20he%20fell%20to%20his%20death%20from%20a%20hotel%20balcony%20in%20buenos%20aires,%20argentina,%20on%20oct.%2016,%20sources%20told%20abc%20news%20monday.xn--%20%20the%20test%20also%20found%20pink%20cocaine,%20a%20recreational%20drug%20that%20typically%20mixes%20methamphetamine,%20ketamine,%20mdma%20and%20others,%20per%20the%20outlet-u398itf.\/\">crack, cocaine and a depressant.<\/a>\u00a0He was also under the influence of pink cocaine, a drug with ketamine, MDMA and methamphetamine.<\/p>\n<p>Months after Payne\u2019s death, officers <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/12\/30\/celebrity-news\/5-people-charged-in-liam-paynes-death-2-months-after-fall\/\">charged five people<\/a>, including\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/12\/10\/celebrity-news\/liam-payne-death-investigation-hotel-manager-who-called-911-now-being-charged-along-with-another-employee\/\">hotel manager Gilda Martin<\/a>, receptionist Esteban Grassi and\u00a0the singer\u2019s friend <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/11\/02\/entertainment\/inside-liam-paynes-friendship-with-energy-millionaire-roger-nores\/\">Rogelio \u201cRoger\u201d Nores<\/a> with manslaughter.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Braian Paiz and Ezequiel Pereyra were also charged with supplying Payne with drugs.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The police identified the women (seen above) to be prostitutes. <span class=\"credit\">Argentina Police<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Payne fell to his death from his third-story hotel balcony. Nores previously <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/11\/07\/celebrity-news\/liam-paynes-friend-issues-statement-as-police-arrest-3-in-connection-to-singers-death\/\">denied allegations that he \u201cabandoned\u201d<\/a> his friend.<\/p>\n<p>Charges against Martin and Grassi were also dropped.
