Paddy looked like the cat that got the cream.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Christine and Paddy\u00a0<a data-ico=\"hyperlink-article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/03\/03\/paddy-mcguinness-rips-lies-divorce-wife-christine-20389642\/?ico=mosaic_tag\"><strong>announced their separation in 2022<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0shortly after their documentary, Our Family and <a data-ico=\"hyperlink-article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/autism\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Autism<\/a> aired.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We hadn\u2019t planned on sharing this publicly until we were ready but the lack of privacy surrounding our personal life, we feel left with no other option but to clarify,\u2019 they said in a joint statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus was as always is to continue loving and supporting our children.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018This was not an easy decision to make but we\u2019re moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children. We\u2019ll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We hope this now draws a line under anymore unwanted and unnecessary intrusion into our private life. Although we work in the public eye we ask kindly if you could respect our wishes for privacy on this matter.
