the incident.<\/p>\n<p>The Jetstar plane was taxiing for takeoff to Queensland \u200bstate\u2019s Gold Coast when its flight crew saw the \u200bQatar Airways plane, which was being towed by an \u2060aircraft tug, very close on a crossing taxiway, the regulator \u200bsaid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth aircraft were stopped abruptly,\u201d the transport safety bureau said in \u200ba came in close proximity,\u201d a Jetstar spokesperson said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Qatar Airways did not immediately \u200brespond to a \u200brequest for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Airservices \u2060Australia, the federal agency responsible for managing air traffic, said it enacted \u201cdeparture spacing\u201d at the airport \u201cto \u200bsafely manage projected airborne and departure
