Associates $600,000 to help secure a pardon from Trump in connection with his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-sdca\/pr\/rapper-torrence-ivy-hatch-aka-boosie-badazz-sentenced-felon-possession-firearm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2023 federal gun case<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The rapper did not receive one despite hiring lobbyists, prompting him to demand a refund from the firm.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This contract was prepared by and signed by Burkman &amp; he wrote in a letter sent to <a href=\"https:\/\/okmagazine.com\/p\/joe-exotic-letter-ok-solitary-confinement-isolated-prison-guard-donald-trump-pardon\/\"><em>OK!<\/em><\/a><em> <\/em>in June. &#8220;Since I&#8217;ve been in the SHU [Special Housing Unit] now for 58 days \u2014 all because a prison guard of 26 years <a href=\"https:\/\/okmagazine.com\/p\/tiger-king-joe-exotic-president-trump-pardon-january-6-2021\/\">wrote President Trump a letter asking him to sign my clemency<\/a> or grant me a pardon.
