She\u2019s fiercely denied the allegations. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Court records reviewed by<em> People <\/em>and <em>Atlanta News First<\/em> allege that the former <em>Love &amp; Hip Hop<\/em> star was allegedly involved in the sexual assault of an underage minor following her arrest on Aug. 2, however, Starr released a statement to <em>TMZ<\/em> on Aug. 3 <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/08\/03\/sidney-starr-denies-child-molestation-molestation\/\">denying all of the allegations.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>RELATED CONTENT: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/madamenoire.com\/1344281\/sidney-starr-reflects-on-her-self-growth-as-a-transgender-woman\/\"><strong>Sidney Starr Reflects On Her Self-Growth As A Trans Woman: \u2018I\u2019m Loud And Proud Now\u2019<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"listicle-slide\" data-page-number=\"1\">\n<h3 id=\"h-sidney-starr-said-the-allegations-are-false\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sidney Starr said the allegations are false.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"\/>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She said she \u201cunequivocally denies the allegations against her and intends to vigorously defend herself through the legal process.\u201d Her statement continued, \u201cAllegations should not be mistaken for fact, and public opinion should never replace due process.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Starr also stressed that the case should not be viewed as a reflection of the transgender community, stating that one person\u2019s alleged actions should never be used to judge or stigmatize an entire group.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"listicle-slide\" data-page-number=\"2\">\n<h3 id=\"h-sidney-starr-alleged-child-molestation-case-what-happened\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sidney Starr alleged child molestation case: What happened?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the reports, Starr, whose legal name is Sidney Favors, was arrested at the Embassy Suites hotel in Hapeville, Georgia, on Aug. 2. Court documents state that Starr allegedly admitted to performing oral sex on a teenage boy and claimed the encounter was consensual. However, because the alleged victim is under the age of consent, authorities filed charges against her.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>CBS News<\/em><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/atlanta\/news\/love-and-hip-hop-sidney-favors-arrested-for-alleged-sexual-assault-of-a-child-da-fani\/\"> reported <\/a>that Hapeville police officers responded to an incident at the Embassy Suites located at 3450 International Blvd., which ultimately led to Starr\u2019s arrest. Court records reviewed by <em>People<\/em> show that she was booked into the Fulton County Jail, where she remained in custody as of this publication.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the involvement of a minor, the Hapeville Police Department said no additional details about the case would be released.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Monday, Starr\u2019s mother, Stephanie Favors, also spoke with <em>TMZ<\/em>, saying the allegations are completely out of character and that she does not believe her daughter would engage in sexual activity with a minor.
