nofollow\">According to Olivia Pollock<\/a>, etiquette and hosting expert at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evite.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" staff-link\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><em>Evite<\/em><\/a>, if you have strict dietary limitations or severe dislikes, it\u2019s perfectly fine to remind your host at least a week before the event to give them time to plan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A conscientious host would even ask in advance, but sometimes they are too busy, stressed, or think they already know everyone\u2019s dietary limitations from other social gatherings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">So, when you RSVP, feel free to remind your host that you\u2019re vegan, kosher, or allergic to nuts. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aol.co.uk\/etiquette-expert-reacts-rules-dining-141146713.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" staff-link\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">one survey<\/a>, over half of Gen Zers think table etiquette is no longer relevant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Looking more specifically, the study found that 77% of Gen Z diners didn\u2019t care if people put their elbows on the table, and 60% couldn\u2019t care less about how someone holds their silverware.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, other generations aren\u2019t as forgiving. If we look at the general population, just 32% believe table etiquette is no longer relevant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The results revealed that other diners are, indeed, mindful of how everyone is behaving: 48% of respondents said they\u2019re irked by loud chewing, while 37% are annoyed by someone picking food off other people\u2019s plates without asking, and another 37% are bothered by people using their phone at the table.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also, while 49% of the people surveyed said they wouldn\u2019t date someone who had bad table manners,
