That can be especially true when we make gender-specific comments, maybe even more so when they&#8217;re directed towards women.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-block-id=\"58a853a6-61c1-4b7f-9a64-8d5f6d651e02\">After all, the general public seems to think that women have it a bit worse than men at the moment. A recent survey by King&#8217;s College London revealed that 48% of people in the UK think that it&#8217;s harder to be a woman than a man today, while 14% say the opposite.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-block-id=\"5c16630c-bc46-4ea0-9b40-51c33ab9bece\">And the comments under a recent thread by netizen @rombesk might reflect just that. When the user posted the question &#8220;Name something people say to women without realizing it&#8217;s offensive?&#8221; on Threads, almost three thousand women came prepared with answers.
