His treatment and recovery will be a long process. We are grateful that Perez was able to spend time with his mother and sister yesterday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe statement also demanded that the \u201cmedia or the public\u201d stop lingering outside of Hilton\u2019s home and cease attempts at photographing his children. This paragraph was bolded in the statement for apparent emphasis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cThere is absolutely no reason for members of the media or the public to remain outside the family\u2019s home,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cWe again respectfully ask members of the media to leave the home and surrounding area, stop following family members, and cease photographing Perez\u2019s children. We also ask photo agencies not to purchase, publish, or distribute any photographs of the children that may have been taken.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOn Aug. 4, <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/perez-hilton-livestream-police-miami-home-1236828090\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Miami police were dispatched to Hilton\u2019s home<\/a> after receiving reports of a disturbing livestream during which Hilton, covered in blood, appeared to be cutting himself.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tHilton\u2019s family issued the following statement the day after, \u201cMany of you have reached out with concern for Perez, and we are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming outpouring of love, support, and prayers.
