(Photo by John Lamparski\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ross will headline\u00a0the one-person play through August 9 after succeeding our <em>other <\/em>favorite fictional Olivia, Mariska Hargitay in the production. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Written by Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe, <em>Every Brilliant Thing<\/em>\u00a0tells the story of someone who is trying to help a parent struggling with depression while also compiling a list of reasons to live. The interactive stage show also incorporates audience participation so that each performance is unique and unlike any other.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before taking on the role, Macmillan believed Ross would be the perfect choice for the production, praising the <em>black-ish<\/em> actress for her wit and ability to connect with audiences.
